Danny Minahan PhD
I am a researcher, educator, and outdoor enthusiast. Originally from Colorado, I earned my PhD from the University of Wisconsin. Following my PhD I pursued postdoctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Sharoni Shafir at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Prof. Lilach Hadany at Tel Aviv University. My research focuses on the interaction between pollinator behavior and floral traits, and the implications for food production and biodiversity conservation. In addition, I teach a course titled Pollination and Food Production in a Changing World at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies.
